The 1960sIn 1961 Bob returned to England and he and Brian Blanchflower embarked on a 3 month, 1000 mile walk through the countryside of Britain to visit the nation’s prehistoric sites. During this trip he discovered what he calls "the poetry of England and the English". In 1963 he went to Denmark, married and took up a post teaching art and English in a school in Skive. He returned to the UK in 1964 and spent the next 5 years teaching art in schools in Borehamwood and Salisbury.
